Ave Maria Catholic Mission Sunday school has a history rooted in the early Malayali catholic community in Ipswich, Queensland. The school, affiliated with AMCM (then known as Ave Maria Catholic Community, AMCC), have evolved from its humble beginnings to meet the changing needs of the local children and families, potentially including specific programs for various age groups and educational interests.
The school was founded by Fr. Thomas Areekkuzhy for a group of dedicated church members seeking to educate children in religious teachings and basic literacy. Mr. Jomon Kurian was the first Principal. The Sunday school started in the year of 2014.
